Your Essential Guide

Your development site will stay live for 30 days unless you sign up in the meantime of course. If you need a refresh on the pricing please see our pricing page.

What Next?

Now that you have your demo site, it’s time to start adding your club content such as an About page, committee information, news posts etc. Have a look at some of the tutorials we’ve put together to help with this:

Core Essentials

These are the essentials, that every club should have:

How do I make my site live?

If you’re happy to go live with the content that you’ve added to the site, there are just a few more steps you need to follow:

Step 1 – Make Payment

If you are happy to join the C&C Community just email kate@clubandcounty.com with the name of your club and we will send you on the standing order form that needs to be filled out. There are different billing options you can choose (eg Annual or Monthly):

Email Kate

Step 2 – Decide on Domain Name

As you know, your demo site has been set up on a clubandcounty.com development url. Before it can go live we will need to move it over to your permanent URL.

Custom Domain
If you already have a Custom Domain, or would like to purchase one, we will need you to add some DNS records in order to connect it to your new site. Don’t worry, Kristina can help you with this if you’re not sure how to do this. Please Note: C&C don’t manage or control custom domains for clubs, so you will need to keep up to date with domain renewals.

GAA.ie Sub Domain
Or you can get a free GAA.ie sub domain for your website. Just get in touch with Kristina and she can help you set this up.

Welcome to the Family!

Now that you’ve successfully paid and we’ve connected your domain to the site, our development team will need some time to finish the set up but once that’s done, your site will be live! Just publish your link on social media or distribute it with your members.

Don’t Forget

If you’ve changed your domain name, don’t forget to update it in your various social media accounts, online or on any email footers that you may have set up.

Also, it will take Google some time to rank your site so please don’t be alarmed if you don’t see it straight away.
